The choice of one’s future profession is a very important step. Quite often, work becomes a significant part of our life and takes most of our time. Many people don’t like what they do to earn money. It makes them tired and depressed. And I want to feel happy every working day, so I am going to choose a profession that is interesting to me.

At the moment I go to school. I am seventeen years old and this is my last year. I’ve been thinking about my future profession for the last months a lot. Now finally it seems that I know what to do. My passion is music and I am going to become a musician.

My parents didn’t approve this decision, because I don’t have any musiceducation. I didn’t go to music school, I took no private music lessons. But in my opinion, it isn’t a problem. Last summer I bought an electric guitar and started to learn to play by myself. There are plenty of video lessons on the Internet. They help me to develop my technique and I see my progress.

At the same time, I started to learn music theory and solfeggio. I downloaded best tutorials from the web and organized my own lessons in the evenings. Usually I spend one or two hours learning music and two or three hours practicing onthe guitar every day. So it’s quite a lot of work to do regularly. But I never get tired, because I enjoy what I do and I appreciate the results.

I am going to enter University of Culture and Arts in my city. There is always a big competition there, but I think my chances are high. I will take a couple of lessons with one of their music teachers. Thus I will make sure that I am ready for the entrance exams. It is still a long way to go before I get ready; I will have to continue my everyday lessons until the end of the schoolyear. The success depends only on me and I am going towork hard towards my goal.

Многим людям не нравится то, что они делают, чтобы заработать деньги. Из-за этого они устают и впадают в депрессию. А я хочу чувствовать себя счастливым каждый рабочий день, поэтому я собираюсь выбрать профессию, которая мне интересна.

Обычно я каждый день один-два часа изучаю музыкальную теорию и два-три часа практикуюсь на гитаре. Так что я регулярно проделываю значительную работу. Но я никогда не устаю, потому что наслаждаюсь тем, что делаю, и я доволен результатом.

Я собираюсь поступать в Университет культуры и искусств в моем городе. Там всегда большой конкурс, но, думаю, мои шансы высоки. Я возьму пару уроков у одного из их преподавателей. Таким образом, я смогу убедиться, что готов к вступительным экзаменам. До того, как я буду готов, еще предстоит пройти долгий путь; мне придется продолжать свои ежедневные занятия до конца учебного года. There is a wide choice of different professions and I`d like to tell you about my hesitation what to choose. In my childhood I wanted to become a famous singer or actor but when I was aware of all the difficulties of these professions I decided to refuse of my dream. Then I was going to become a vet. I imagined myself treating different animals, taking care of them, feeding and walking with them in the park, but this dream hadn`t also come true.

It goes without saying that every person must choose his profession according his natural abilities and inclinations to it. So I have decided to connect my life with a profession of a teacher because I am sure that it`s my cup of tea. On the one hand it`s a great responsibility for children, on the other hand it`s a very interesting, exciting and valuable profession in our life. Besides you won`t be able to succeed as a teacher if you don`t like children. Your success depends on a lot of things. At first you should be communicative, very organized and hardworking. You must be skilful in your profession. It is also necessary to understand pupils, give them a helping hand and be ready to solve their problems. More than that you must be polite and tactful.

Profession of a teacher is a great profession and it is known that who doesn`t work in this sphere, won`t be able to understand all the essence of it.

Nowadays there are thousands of different occupations but the most important role in choosing this or that one, plays a salary, of course. It is so, but to my mind, it`s impossible to work only for that purpose "earning a lot of money".Our job must bring us satisfaction and always only pleasant emotions. So in conclusion I`d like to advise people to choose their profession carefully, taking every thing into their consideration.

Вы должны быть искусны в своей профессии. Также необходимо понимать учеников, давать им руку помощи и быть готовыми решить их проблемы. Более того, вы должны быть вежливыми и тактичными.

Профессия учителя - отличная профессия, и известно, что кто не работает в этой сфере, не сможет понять всю сущность этого.

В настоящее время существуют тысячи разных профессий, но самая важная роль в выборе того или иного, конечно, играет зарплата. Это так, но, на мой взгляд, невозможно работать только с этой целью «зарабатывать много денег». Наша работа должна приносить нам удовлетворение и всегда только приятные эмоции. Поэтому в заключение я бы посоветовал людям тщательно выбирать свою профессию, принимая все во внимание.

The matter of choosing a career

I’m going to tell you about my future profession. There are two most important things in anyone’s life: choosing a career and getting a job. Some pupils know what they are going to do after leaving school but for others it’s difficult to give a definite answer about their future profession. We get to know about a wide range of professions from magazines and advertisements and then we make either our own choice or follow our parents’ advice as they are also concerned about our future.

Choosing a career

When choosing a career one should take into consideration all the possibilities that it might provide. First of all, it should be interesting. Secondly, one has to be sure to be able to find a good and well-paid job after graduating. Another important factor that influences the choice of the profession is our abilities to different disciplines. One has to analyze thoroughly which things or subjects he or she is good at, and only then make a final choice.

I want to be an interpreter

As for me, since my childhood I’ve known I want to be an interpreter. My choice is closely connected with the importance of foreign languages and cultures which is growing nowadays. Foreign languages are needed for communication with people on our planet. I believe that among all, English is the most universal and widely spread. It’s an official language in a vast number of countries. Besides, it’s the language of international aviation, sports, medicine, the language of science and technology, trade, cultural and business relations.

Conclusion

I’m quite aware that the job of an interpreter isn’t an easy one. You have to be very communicative and responsible. Moreover, be prepared to work long hours and move around a lot. But on the other hand you’ll have a chance to travel to different foreign countries and to meet a lot of interesting people. I think this profession is worth taking up. Being a student of the University I pay special attention to English and try to work hard. I hope I’ve made the right decision.

Sooner or later everybody has to think about his or her future profession. But when you are just sixteen, it’s so difficult to , and so easy to make a mistake! We shouldn’t forget about our kind of mind and personal taste and, for sure, the requirements of the society and people’s needs.

For me the end of the school is a very serious step in my life, the beginning of an independent life, and the time of more difficult exams. I do want to choose the right road in my life which will help me to be the best in my work and life.

Everybody, each girl and boy, has the opportunity to use the education they received at school in their future studying. Some of them will prefer to work in plants or factories, some of them will take part in building new towns or constructions, others will take care of people or work at school. Men often choose men’s professions such as a police officer, a fireman, an engineer and others. More feminine professions are a nurse, a teacher, an accountant etc.

What about me, I hope I have already made my choice. I would like to become a midwife. My mom is a qualified midwife and a highly experienced nurse. She told me a lot about her work. Even at the age of 10 I decided to follow my mom"s footsteps.
